Fall is the time to get your lawn in top condition for the nice outdoor months ahead. While most of us start to enjoy getting outside a lot more to get fresh air or some exercise, it is the prime time to start the process of dethatching, scalping, seeding, fertilizing and watering your turf areas, that will result in a beautiful, lush green lawn that your family and the pets can enjoy all winter and spring.

The best time to seed your lawns starts around October 1st and can be done all the way through mid November. It is very important to know all of the tricks & tips to getting a good stand of grass in your lawn, as the end result depends on the effort put in to the whole process. That's were having someone with 25 years of experience can be very helpful, and even the most cost effective tool in starting off your new grass.

We use only the best perennial rye grass seeds on the market. Also getting the lawns ready by using a power rake or dethatching machine makes all the difference in how your grass will come in. First the water should be off for a few weeks leading up to putting the grass down. Then all of the thatch and Bermuda grass most be taken down almost to the dirt. Now you are ready for seed, starter fertilizing and proper water coverage and frequency to avoid running off of your seed and water.

Like I said from the beginning you will get out of your yard what you invest in it. We offer a turn key service to you so you can sit back, relax and watch your lawn transform into the one you have always envied down the block. When you consider the time you will save not spending all weekend try to scalp down your grass, and figure out how to get rid of all the extra grass you never thought was in there. Also renting machines and buying good seed and fertilizer can get pricey.

So why not call a professional to come out and give you a estimate today.

I have been thinking about winter grass for this year. I skipped the last 2 years becuase of the hassle. But it sure is nice to look out from your back window to a green lawn throughout the winter.

I have used Desert Diamond for repair work and could not be happier with their service. Seriosly thinking about using them for winter grass this year.
